The Election Commission of India on Saturday (April 25, 2026) said post-poll scrutiny of Form 17A and related election documents was completed smoothly in Tamil Nadu, which voted on April 23, and in West Bengal, where Phase 1 of polling concluded on the same day. The verification exercise was conducted on April 24 across all 152 Assembly constituencies in West Bengal and 234 constituencies in Tamil Nadu, in the presence of general observers and candidates or their representatives.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Araghchi meets Pakistan Army chief Munir
