About IPM Indore
Launched by IIM Indore in 2011, the five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) is the first of its kind in India. The programme has been accredited by the Association of MBAs,  (4th and 5th Year).
It is a unique and creative programme meant for young students with managerial and leadership aspirations. Through the IPM, IIM Indore seeks to attract young students, and mould them as outstanding leaders through a world-class education.

The first three years  of the programme:

The IPM will enable students to:

1. Demonstrate language skills

2. Demonstrate oral communication skills

3. Demonstrate knowledge of foundational subjects for management studies

4. Demonstrate an awareness of ethical understanding

5. Enhance physical well-being

The last two years  of the programme:

Last two years of the programme are at Post-graduate level and the IPM students are mixed with the PGP programme students and they go through the same set of courses as the PGP programme. Hence the learning goals for these two years are the same as that of the PGP Programme.

4. Inculcate integrative thinking ability

5. Promote interpersonal awareness and ability to work in groups

6. Enable students to learn how to apply the basic principles of communication in order to write effective business messages, case analysis and reports.

8. Prepare business leaders with a sound understanding of ethics

The Programme consists of 15 terms spread over a period of 5 years, with each year having 3 terms of 3 months. IPM is in two parts. The first three years build a foundation, and the last two years focus on management.

1. What is IPMAT?

IPM AT is the entrance exam for admission to IIM Indore 5 year Integrated Programme in Management leading to award of BBA+MBA degree. IPMAT 2023 score will also be accepted by IIM Ranchi and Nirma University for Admission 2023 to their 5 year IPM programmes. Admission to IPM programme is available after class 12.  The IPM AT 2023 exam will be a computer based test. IPMAT 2022 Exam Centres  are in 34 cities and have multiple test venues. IIM Indore launched the five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM), the first of its kind in India, in 2011. 

2. What is 5 Year Integrated Programme in Management offered by IIMs?

Five Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) is a Dual Degree Programme for Young Students. IPM is a combination of 3 years undergraduate degree + 2 years MBA degree programme. The programme is meant for young students who have passed class 12 and have managerial and leadership aspirations. IPM carries the IIM Indore brand ensuring good career growth in management career. After 3 years of study schedule, the IPM students become the part of IIM Indore MBA/PGP batch leading to high placements.

3. IPM AT 2023: Other Top B-schools Accepting Score

IPM AT Exam 2023, conducted by IIM Indore is the mandatory entrance exam for admission to 5 year Integrated Program in Management (BBA+MBA) 2023-28 batch at IIM Indore; IIM Ranchi; Institute of Management- Nirma University, Ahmedabad.  The candidates for IPM 2023-28 Batch will be selected on the basis of overall performance in IPMAT 2023 Exam  & Personal Interview (PI). 

4. IPMAT Eligibility Criteria 2023 & Intake

IPMAT eligibility criteria 2023 require you to have passed class 12 and should have passed class 10 with 60% marks. IIM Indore IPM programme is aimed at students who have passed Class XII/Higher Secondary or equivalent from schools across India and are not above 20 years of age. Total Seats for IIM Indore IPM 2023-28 batch have increased to 150.

5. How to Apply for IPMAT IIM Indore Program 2023?

Candidates have to submit their application online for IPMAT IIM Indore Program  during the IPM AT 2023 registration window which remains open for more than a month. The payment of IPM AT registration and application fee should also be done online. The IPMAT 2023 application fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. The application is available at IIM Indore IPM admission website. 

Application Procedure

Eligible candidates should submit their application online (visit www.iimidr.ac.in) during the period Monday, March 6, 2023 to Friday, April 14, 2023 and pay the online non-refundable/non-transferable application fee of Rs. 4,130/- (Rupees Four Thousand One Hundred Thirty only, inclusive of GST @18%) / Rs.2,065/- (Rupees Two Thousand Sixty Five only, inclusive of GST @18% for SC/ST/PwD category candidates).

Candidates belonging to NC‐OBC, SC, ST and PwD categories need to produce valid Caste/Category certificate(s) in support of their reservation category and candidates belonging to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) need to produce a valid document ascertaining the eligibility of the candidate to apply under EWS category.
 

Selection Procedure
 

The candidates will be selected on the basis of overall performance in Aptitude Test (AT) and Personal Interview (PI). Any candidate who fails to appear either in Aptitude Test or in Personal Interview or both shall not be considered for selection.
