About Common Management Admission Test
The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a National Level Entrance Examination for admission to management programmes in the country. This Test facilitates AICTE affiliated/ Participating Institutions to select suitable graduate candidates for admission to the Management Courses in such Institutions.Till 2018, the Test was conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). NTA is conducting this Test since 2019.
The CMAT-2023 will be conducted by the NTA. The CMAT is a three hours Computer Based Online Test which is conducted to evaluate the candidates ability across various segments like Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness, Innovation and Entreprenurship.
The CMAT score is accepted by all AICTE- Approved Institutions / University Departments / Constituent Colleges /Affiliated Colleges.

For the Academic Year (2023), Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow will also use the score sheet of CMAT-2023 for admission to MBA (Master of Business Administration) Course in its affiliated Colleges across the State of Uttar Pradesh.
Important Instructions:
(i) Candidates can apply for CMAT-2023 through “Online” mode only. The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted.
(ii) Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. Multiple Application Forms submitted by a candidate will not be accepted at any cost.

How to apply for CMAT 2023:
Following Steps may be followed to Apply Online:
Step-1: Apply for Online Registration using own Email Id and Mobile No.
Step-2: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down the system generated Application Number.
Upload scanned images of: the recent photograph (file size 10Kb – 200Kb) either in colour or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against white background candidate’s signature (file size: 4kb – 30kb) PwD certificate (file size: 50kb to 300kb) in jpg/jpeg format.
Step-3: Pay fee using SBI/HDFC Bank/Paytm Payment Gateway through Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI/Wallet and keep proof of fee paid.
All the 3 Steps can be done together or at separate timings. The submission of Application of a candidate could be considered as successful and his/her candidature would be confirmed only on the successful transaction/receipt of the prescribed application fee from him/her.
CMAT Allied institutes:
Most of the top MBA/PGDM colleges in India accept CMAT score for admission.
They include JBIMS, SIMSREE, K J Somaiya, Welingkar, PUMBA, Great Lakes, GIM Goa, IMT Nagpur, BIMTECH Greater Noida, 330 MBA/MMS colleges in Maharashtra, among others.
