COMMON LAW ADMISSION TEST (CLAT) 2026
The Executive Council of the Consortium of National Law Universities is pleased to
announce the extension of the last date for submission of CLAT 2026 online
applications (for both U.G. and P.G. programmes).
Please note that the new last date for submission of online applications has been
extended up to 23:59 hours on 7th November, (Friday) 2025.

Registration Commencement
The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) is announced the commencement of the registration process for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026. This examination is for admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses in law.
Registration Details:
- Start Date: August 01, 2025
- End Date: Now Extended Date 7th November, (Friday) 2025.
Interested candidates can apply via the official website: consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Please ensure that all application details and fees are submitted before the deadline.
Application Fees:
- General Category: ₹4000
- SC/ST/PwD/BPL Candidates: ₹3500
Please note that the application fee is non-refundable.
Steps for Registration:
1. Visit the official CLAT website: consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
2. Click on the ‘Register’ button located at the bottom of the login window on the homepage.
3. Complete the registration form with the required details and create an account. Login post registration.
4. Fill out the registration form with accurate information.
5. Upload the necessary documents in PDF format (recent passport-size photograph, signature, relevant certificates for SC, ST, OBC, PwD, and BPL if applicable).
6. Submit the form and save the confirmation page for your records.

The CLAT 2026 is a gateway for admissions into the five-year integrated LLB and LLM programmes at participating universities for the academic year 2025-2030.
