Zenith
was conceived of as a dream by a young MBA
who dared to chart his own
path. The young entrepreneur, Anil Singh,
launched Zenith in 1995 as a pioneering effort
in the field of management entrance preparation,
and the scene of action was Kanpur the largest
city in the Hindi belt. He later turned Zenith
into a corporate entity.

Zenith
is, at present, arguably the biggest non
franchisee MBA entrance training
institute in North India. It has a large
network of 6 branches in Kanpur and enjoys
about 40%
of the market share in terms of enrolment
strength.
It remains the only corporatised entity of
its kind in the entire area. It has set up
its own e-Testing Centre an exclusive computer
Lab where students are
prepared & trained for on line exams like CAT, GRE, GMAT, MAT etc. |

Having
completed the two phases of evolution and consolidation,
Zenith is now
poised for expansion. This year onwards, the
focus will be on developing judicious in other
districts of U.P., as well as in other states.
Due diligence is on in states like Delhi, M.P.
Assam and Karnataka.
Efforts are also on launching a separate company/division to focus on competitive
exams other than mgmt entrance tests e.g. civil services, Banking, Railways,
S.S.C. etc. |

The
functional structure of Zenith is divided
into Marketing,
HR & A, Finance, R & D and Academics. Each department is headed by
a professional who is accountable to the founder Director, Mr. Anil Singh.
The structure of the company is flat, not multi level, and truly democratic. |

So
far more than Zenithians have become MBAs successfully.
Zenith has consistently given best results
among all the non franchisee entities of its
kind all over North India. In 2008 CAT,
Zenthians received 118 Calls from IIMs Zenithians
were finally selected to the various IIMs.
In addition, 6 students scored 800/800 in
MAT (Dec. ’08).
250+ calls were received from CAT allied institutes. |

In
keeping with the emerging trend of on line
exams, Zenith has set up its own e-testing
center – a separate division including
a computer Lab, R & D lab for generating on line tests and developing software
for these tests.

I feel humbled to have made a meaningful difference to the lines of about 18
